Details

October marks global Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a vital time dedicated to education, early detection, and standing in unwavering solidarity with everyone affected by cancer. Keeping this mission at the forefront, Cancer Care Nepal, in proud collaboration with Infinite Cares, successfully hosted PinkWalk 2026 on October 3rd.
Guided by this year's powerful theme, "Embrace Hope," the event was executed flawlessly. A passionate crowd of participants, including healthcare professionals, cancer survivors, families, and community members, gathered early in the morning, creating a beautiful wave of pink solidarity across the historic streets of the valley.
The awareness march flagged off from the historic Basantapur and concluded grandly at Patan Krishna Mandir. The energy of the walk was heightened by a vibrant cultural music procession, bringing the community together for a shared, collective campaign.
Following the opening session, the awareness march officially flagged off from the historic Basantapur and concluded grandly at Patan Krishna Mandir.
Beyond spreading lifesaving awareness, the impact of the walk was highly tangible. All participant registration proceeds and community contributions collected through our official platforms were directly dedicated to supporting the medical treatment and care of cancer patients in financial need.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our co-organizer, every single volunteer, walker, local authority, and the numerous corporate partners and institutional supporters who stepped out to make this initiative a grand success. Together, we didn't just walk, we marched toward a future built on courage, community, and hope.
